Leather is a key component in Palworld, especially for making saddles for your mount Pals. Check out where to farm leather in Palworld below.
How to find Leather in Palworld
You can find leather in Palworld at the Wandering Merchant. This could be an option for you if you need the basics when you just start the game. However, a far better way of farming leather in Palworld is by catching or killing Pals. If you’re not sure which ones drop leather, open your Paldeck, select a Pal, and look under Possible Drops.

The best Pals to farm for leather are the ones whose natural habitats are in the beginning area, as this is where you’ll set up your first base. At the start, you’ll want to farmFoxpark, Melpaca, andEikthydeer. You’ll find them aroundGrassy Behemot Hills, close to the Fast Travel point at173,-472.
Foxparks can also provide you with Flame organs, while Eikthydeer drops Venison and Horns. Melpaca’s drop wool, but if you have Lamballs and Cremis at the base, you’ll already have so much of it (perhaps even too much; I’m drowning in it).
Once you’ve leveled up enough, you can also tackle theMammorestPal in this area for a bigger leather drop. They are huge and usually are around level 35. You can fight a boss in the Behemoth Hills area at196,-480.This means you and your pals need to be very prepared to fight it. You definitely need some good guns for this one.
You can findFuacka little further ahead, in the area around theDesolate Churchat63,-418. You can also farm them forPal Fluidsearly in the game, which is another necessary crafting material.
Other Pals that drop Leather that are in the close vicinity areRushroarsandDirehowls. They can be found in the area around theSmall Settlement and the bridgeat59,-497. Rushroars will also drop some tasty pork along with bone, while Direhowls drop rubies and coins.
