Pink Samples, or Super Rare Samples, are Helldiver 2’s rarest resource for several reasons. If you’re looking to upgrade your destroyer completely, you’re going to need an abundance of these samples, so here’s where and how you can find them.
How to find Super Rare Samples in Helldivers 2
Out of the three types of samples in Helldivers 2 (Common, Rare, Super Rare), Super Rare samples are by far the hardest to come by. This is because they can only be obtained by playing onSuicide Mission or higher difficultywhen running missions. Like the lower-end samples, you may find Super Rare sampleswithin POIs(Points of Interest) located on the mission you’re on. However, be warned: Super Rare Samples are, in fact, super rare. You’ll need to run several missions and search POIs often to find these samples in any meaningful quantity.

I found my first set of Super Rare Samples onAngel’s Ventureagainst theTerminidsonHelldiver difficultyjust after completing the main mission and heading toward extraction. Ever since that first find, my team and I have been able to consistently obtain a few every other mission or so, making the seemingly impossible task of obtaining these samples, possible on a relatively common occasion.
We found them at a particularly infested POI containing a vertically large Terminid structure.
They were growing at thebase ofthe structure, and typically come in groups anywhere from two to five. Note thatyou must extract with the Super Rare Samplesto use them back on your destroyer. This, of course, goes for the rest of your squad as well.
