There are plenty of cacti around the Glittering Dunes, but only one type of cacti produces the tasty Catctoberries. You’ll need to branch off to different areas of the Dunes to find them. Here’s how.
How to get Cactoberries in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Cactoberries are a fruit ingredient that can be used for meals cooked atChez Remy in Eternity Isleor at any nearby Cooking Station. It is a harvestable ingredient, meaning you won’t need to plant your own seeds; instead, you’re able to find it growing within a specific biome. In this case, the Cactoberries are grown in the desert ofGlittering Dunes, but only in specific areas.
The Catcoberries are only grown in two different areas of the Glittering Dunes:The BorderlandsandThe Oasis. These areas will remain locked up when you first enter the biome, requiring Mist to access them. The Borderlands costs10,000 Mist, and The Oasis costs6,000 Mist. Of course, I would suggest unlocking The Oasis first since it costs less, and you’ll be able to harvest some Cactoberries much quicker, but if you have the Mist, definitely go for the bigger option.

The Cactoberries are on large cacti and have the orange-colored pokey fruits on them. You’ll find two of them in The Oasis and more of them in The Borderlands. Like most harvestable ingredients like this, more willrespawnon the bush, or cacti, within20-30 minutes, but you’ll get two pieces each time you harvest. You can get even more if you bring a gathering buddy along with you.
The Cactoberries can be eaten immediately to restore a little bit of energy, but are better for other meals as well, such as the Thousand Needles appetizer. You’ll want to collect them as much as you can to save them for when you need them.
